TRAIN successfully delivered the Export Readiness Assessment program, focusing on assessing and enhancing the export capabilities of 30 companies in Cairo and Alexandria. The comprehensive methodology involved the development of a structured questionnaire to evaluate key areas of export readiness, followed by interview-based assessments with top management. Diagnostic reports were generated for each company, identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, with actionable recommendations. Subsequently, a tailored capacity development program, comprising group workshops and one-on-one mentorship, was designed to address specific needs. The program culminated in a comprehensive final report, evaluating its effectiveness in empowering participating companies for international expansion. This initiative demonstrates TRAIN’s commitment to facilitating the long-term sustainability and economic contributions of SMEs in the global market.
