Project Brief Description of Activities
TRAIN will deliver a package of 11 one-day training programs to the targeted SMEs (Package 1), and to build on the services provided in Part 1 to deliver a second series of 11 in depth training programs based on the SMEs’ identified needs (Package 2) in concurrence with the first package.
Training programs include:
- 1.The basic principles, procedures and regulations that organize the export sector in Egypt
- 2.Principles of export market research, and how to develop a clear and measurable export strategy
- 3.International trade developments, and how to leverage the main advantages and preferential treatments secured by free trade agreements
- 4.Technical requirements and standards that should be met before exporting a product to the world
- 5.Different tools for payment settlement and global standards of letter of credit
- 6.Tools for effective participation in trade missions and exhibitions, focusing on how to communicate with buyers, negotiate deals, and establish long-term linkages and follow up with the buyers on potential deals and recent trends related to packaging and labeling, product protection, colors selection, and sustainability goals

TRAIN will be utilizing their extensive experience to achieve the main objectives of the program, which is to enhance the export capabilities of the participating companies, through delivering a series of practical and intensive training programs enabling participants to utilize our experts’ experiences in optimizing their export strategies, accessing international markets and building sustainable relations with potential buyers within.
