Training helped participants:
- 1.Understand international trade policies and the main principles governing free trade agreements.
- 2.Enhance their knowledge of tariff exemptions for Egyptian exports and imports.
- 3.Understand the developments of the Arab rules of origin negotiations and the common problems that should be avoided when trading with free trade agreements member states and the challenges solving guidelines.
- 4.Identify the different tariff exemptions exports/imports within the framework of GAFTA, Agadir and GCC Customs Union.
- 5.identify the key benefits and preferential treatment that can be secured within their framework;
- 6.Understand the general provisions of rules of origin provided in GAFTA and Agadir free trade agreements and the GCC’s Customs Union.
- 7.Understand the criteria to fulfill and apply the rules of origin requirements in light of them
- 8.Grasp examples of rules of origin application as well as the tricky provisions and potential issues that challenge corporations while fulfilling rules of origin requirements.
