TRAIN has successfully organized a Supply Chain Management Bootcamp for the Chemical Sector, held in November 2023 in Cairo, Egypt. The program catered to 20-25 companies in the Chemical Export Council, focusing on two main objectives. The first objective aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge of supply chain management, sustainable practices, cost reduction, and post-COVID-19 supply chain trends. The second objective provided participants with the tools to access global markets through Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), Rules of Origin (RoO), and export subsidies, with a specific focus on cost reduction in packaging, printing, and labeling. Expert trainers and real-world case studies enriched the learning experience, and panel discussions allowed for knowledge sharing and networking. TRAIN’s successful delivery of this bootcamp underscores its dedication to equipping professionals in the chemical sector with the skills and knowledge needed for success in the global business landscape.
